Poinsettia Bone China Collection

Poinsettia (Euphorbia pulcherrima)
Poinsettias are traditionally the quintessential Yuletide flowering plants that hold a nostalgic place in many hearts throughout the Christmas season. They are grown for their brightly coloured bracts (the part of a plant that may resemble a leaf or petal). In the Caribbean, as the Christmas season approaches, these normally nondescript plants growing in many gardens begin to dramatically change colour from green to pink, red, maroon and pale yellow. Always a sign that Christmas is on its way! Poinsettias are now as much part of Christmas as pine trees, holly or mistletoe and are popular Christmas decorations in homes, offices and churches. The Poinsettia has been associated with Christmas in the Caribbean since the 17h century.

What better way to show them off than your Christmas table laid with white linen and our botanical bone china plates hand-decorated with the magnificent Poinsettia.
