Beautiful hand-painted fine bone china tableware and giftware inspired by Caribbean fruits and flowers

Jenny Mein, a former magazine food editor was inspired by memories of the flowering plants and fruits of her childhood’s beautiful family garden on an old sugar estate in Jamaica to design a range of hand-painted fine bone china tableware and giftware using the fruit of the Ackee as the central motif. She launched the Jamaican Ackee fine bone china collection in London in 1998 and was greatly encouraged by the marvelous response to the china and subsequent features in magazines and newspapers both in the United Kingdom and Jamaica to set up her company, Jenny Mein Designs and website.
